Our Story

Lindsay and Jeff met each other while studying physics in Boulder, CO. They first connected in 2015 as workout partners, and bonded over their shared love of open-minded discussion — and, occasionally, some good-natured (and slightly contentious) debate.

Later, they discovered a mutual love of outdoor adventures. After sharing several backpacking trips together, they started dating on Memorial day of 2016.

Following their graduation, Jeff and Lindsay traveled to the island of St. Lucia in July of 2021 for a celebratory vacation. There, Jeff proposed to Lindsay during a dinner in a cliffside gazebo overlooking a Caribbean sunset.

Since then, they bought a house in Louisville, CO and adopted a snuggly Bernedoodle named Mira. Lindsay is a Staff Scientist at NIST in Boulder, while moonlighting as a board member of a climate non-profit, and Jeff works as an AI engineer at a tech startup.
